September is right around the corner. Ladies K will
begin the year with it's first meeting at the home of Delores
Haugen, N7625 Jupiter . Her phone is 924-5795. The date is
Thursday, September 8starting with refreshments at 6:30 and Bible
Study by Pastor Bramstadt at 7PM. The main meeting is to discuss our
upcoming LWML Fall Rally Monday, October 17 at Divine Savior. Sign
up sheets for future meetings and committees will be an important
task to complete so our 2011-2012 booklet can be typed.
There will be car pooling from church at 6:15. Please
let Kay Klemme (923-5765) know if you would like a ride.
Our mission is to always have a low balance in our checking and savings accounts. Sounds strange, I know, but as you may or may not know, the group's goal is to have fund-raisers and collections; and then find organizations and/or individuals to help with that money. The coffers are useless unless they are disbursed to those in need.
The above photos are taken during monthly meetings doing projects for others or just having fund. Top is a visit to The Little Farmer, middle is carving pumpkins for 6 nursing homes and the bottom is making cards from old card for fund raising. If you have any questions, call Kay Klemme. Remember, Ladies' Koinonia is open to all ladies of the congregation. Even if you are not a member you are always invited to attend our events as our guest. |
